Wisconsin - Illinois Plays of the Game: UW Badger Basketball

Badger Offensive Play of the Game: We are going with the little scoop shot Leuer had to get 2 points after he looked completely shut down by his man, just a great example of the number of ways he can score. You could probably throw in a number of Leuer's other plays into contention including the two man game on one play with Hughes, or the dunk he had off a nice pass to the post on a designed play. Leuer does so much to open up the offense and it looks like the Badgers have him fully back integrated into things now without hurting the other players games and what was working without him, this integration was what was clearly lacking against Minnesota and even for a couple of more games.

Badgers Defensive Play of the Game: We tried to remember a really standout defensive play but one doesn't come to mind which is pretty unusual. Ryan Evans is almost always involved in this category but we must have turned away during one of his highlights. With the absence of a specific play we would like to take the time to point out the outstanding job Jordan Taylor did on defense against McCamey and that he is probably the best defensive guard in the Big Ten despite the recognition Hughes and Kramer both get.
