Trevon Hughes 2nd Team,Jason Bohannon 3rd Team All Big Ten

Trevon Hughes got 2nd team All Big Ten, Jason Bohannon got 3rd team All Big Ten, and Jon Leuer was Honorable Mention. We don't really have a problem with how the Badgers placed considering Hughes has been up and down this year although you can argue his defense and determination put him over the McCamey and Lucas, and we would have liked Bohannon to somehow have gotten 2nd team but that wasn't possible given what Taylor Battle did at Penn State. The one thing we do take issue with is Keaton Nankivil being left the honorable mention squads which are both very guard heavy, if you look at what Nankivil contributes in all around game him being left off is a joke.
A lot of people might think it is a joke that Bo Ryan didn't win coach of the year, however we take it as respect for the team that people in the league have actually looked at the players on this team and said you know what Bo has a talented team and wasn't able to get a share of the Big Ten Title. If the Badgers had won at Purdue when they had the chance or didn't fall apart against Illinois the first time then Bo gets the award, we don't even feel bad for Bo because we actually think in both losses he had a key mistake in at Purdue he took Evans out down the stretch and against Illinois Evans played only 4 minutes. If you go back and look at the Badgers big victories Evans had big "silent" contributions in all of them.
