Badger Game Preview - First Easy Trey:
1. The Badgers are 16-5 and ranked 16th in the nation, Michigan State is ranked 5th and is 19-3 overall and has not lost in the Big Ten . The Badgers lost to Michigan State on the road 47-54 on January 6th. The Badgers never led in the game but played extremely competitively in the Michigan State home opener. Jon Leuer led the Badgers in points with 21 and of course won't be available for the rematch as he is still out with a wrist injury.  Trevon Hughes had a tough game in that contest going 3-13 scoring 7 points. This is the Badgers 3rd opportunity of the year to knock off a top 10 team at the Kohl Center, they have already beaten Duke and Purdue at home.

2. Michigan State starts Raymar Morgan and Delvon Roe at forward and Kalin Lucas,Chris Allen, and Durrell Summers at the guards. Sophomore Draymond Green is the leading player off the bench scoring 10.4 points per game, in the game against the Badgers he went 3 of 4 and scored 11 points. Junior guard Kalin Lucas leads a balanced MSU scoring attack averaging 16.0 points per game followed by Raymar Morgan at 11.1, and Durrell Summers at 10.8. Michigan State shoots .335% from three, .685% from the line, and .486% from the floor.

3. The Badgers didn't play Michigan State at the Kohl Center last year, loosing their only meeting at East Lancing 50-61.  In their last meeting at the Kohl Center in 2008 the Badgers won 57-42 playing extremely stingy defense, led by Brian Butch's 16 points, Trevon Hughes scored 13 in that game.  Look for another low scoring bruising battle between the two teams again as this is probably the hardest fought rivalry over the last decade in the Big Ten.

Badger Game Preview - Fast Break Keys to the Game:
1. Trevon and JBo need to have games that are more typical of their abilities than the Purdue game.

2. The Badgers need to close out on the three point shooters and get their hands up.

3. The young players need to contribute at home, it is understandable that they struggle sometimes on the road but Wilson,Evans,Taylor and Mike B. need to outplay the Michigan St. bench.

Badger Game Preview Prediction:
The Badgers win this game 60-58 as the Badgers lead most of the game but have to fight to hang on, the Badgers are aided by Keaton Nankivil continuing his hot shooting streak. Trevon Hughes also has a nice bounce back game from his struggles against Purdue.
