Wisconsin - Indiana Player of the Game:UW Badger Basketball

Wisconsin-Indiana Player of the Game: Jason Bohannon gets our player of the game for a surprising third game in a row. Of course this wasn't even a contest this time as JBo went off for 30 points on 7 of 11 shooting from three point range and also scored in a number of other ways. As we have been talking about Jason appears to be playing with a ton of confidence right now and has learned to get himself open shots on his own. You also can't forget that his defensive abilities have improved dramatically in his four years in Madison.

Runner-up Player of the Game: Trevon Hughes helped set the Badgers tempo early so we give him our runner-up player of the game. Trevon had a real tough second half in the loss to Illinois but he came out on fire against Indiana distributing the ball, hitting his runners and draining threes. Hughes cooled off in the second half but he finished with 16 points on 5 of 11 shooting and maybe most importantly he hit all of his free throws and looked good doing it. We also want to mention Mike B. who had 7 rebounds in 18 minutes of play, Mike didn't play against the Illini and that was likely a mistake in the second half as the rebounding could have helped.

Tough Game Award: Against Illinois Rob Wilson got our runner-up award but he had a rough game against Indiana. In his 17 minutes on the court he scored only 4 points and 2 of those came on free throws after some guy leveled him on the offensive end away from the ball. Wilson just didn't look right in this game, his other 2 points were another impressive runner where he stayed in excellent control but he couldn't get into the offense and looked off on defense as well.
