Wisconsin-Illinois Player of the Game: Well it was a tough loss as the Badgers just didn't match up very well with the height of Illinois and missed out on a chance to share first place in the Big Ten. Jason Bohannon though earned our player of the game award for the second straight game. JBo had 15 points on 6 of 10 shooting,6 rebounds,3 assists and 2 steals for another all around good effort from the senior. On the negative side Jason did have two turnovers but again we are very impressed with his improvement and overall effort the last couple of games.
Runner-up Player of the Game: A lot of Badgers had tough nights which usually happens when you loose, sense we decided we are going to try and pick this every game we will go with Rob Wilson. Rob didn't play as much in this game due to match up problems but maybe he should have as he did a terrific job of driving to the hoop and finishing or getting fouled, he is the only Badger who can say that in this game. Rob finished with 7 points,4 rebounds and an assist in only 13 minutes of play. It was completely his night either though as he went an uncharacteristic 2 for 5 from the free throw line.
Tough Game Award: Well you could say the whole Badger team, however we will give this to Keaton Nankivil as he had trouble stopping Tisdale from scoring in the first half and went 4 of 14 from the field and 1 of 6 from three point range. Nankivil has been hot with his shot of late and he still looked pretty good they just weren't falling and if we are remembering correct a lot of those misses were rushed shots late in the game. Other Badgers with tough games include in order Hughes,Taylor, and we aren't sure what Jarmusz did in the game so we will go with him as well.
