Jon Leuer practiced with the the Badger basketball for the first time since he injured his wrist, he practiced with the first team. You can pretty much take it to the bank that this means he will be playing against Minnesota, maybe not as a starter but he will play. The Badgers need Leuer more against Minnesota than other teams due to Minnesota's height. To not have Leuer could result in the same problems with the dribble drive that happened against Illinois, so with him practicing you have to figure he is playing in this game and hopefully the rest of the season. Just to reiterate we actually sort of doubt Leuer will start but having him on the court will be huge. In addition we think that Mike B. played so many minutes against Indiana because the coaching staff was seriously trying to evaluate his ability to play in games from this point forward as they recognized they might desperately need his height and rebounding ability.
