The Wisconsin Badgers basketball team lost in OT to the upstart Gophers at the Kohl Center. The loss is only the fourth Big Ten loss in Bo Ryans 8 year tenure in Madison. So you ask how did this happen, well the Badgers can't beat a full court press to save their lives. The Badgers would not have lost to U-Conn if they could, and now they have lost to the Gophers because of it. You say not have lost to U-Conn, yes the Badgers lost to U-Conn because they switched to a full court press for the entire game because the Badgers could not beat it. The Gophers used the full court press to start the game and rattled the Badgers into an early hole. Once the Gophers went away from the full court press the Badgers were able to turn the tide and looked completely in control of the game. The Gophers down ten with about three minutes and change left then went back to a full court press which again completely on did the Badgers. Frankly I see terrific coaching on Tubby Smiths part in combination with an outstanding effort from the Gophers Westbrook. What I can not understand is how a guard with the dribbling ability of Trevon Hughes can't be tought how to beat a full court press.
