Jon Leuer is heating up for the Wisconsin Badgers as the season progresses. In the last game against UW-Milwaukee he took over the game on offense in short bursts twice. In the latest Badgers game against Virginia Tech he was second on the team in scoring with 17 points off the bench on 7-11 shooting in 21 minutes of play. Look for Leuer to be the major piece to the Badgers puzzle this year that allows them to contend for another Big Ten title. Leuer was not the only bright spot as the Badgers score vs Virginia Tech was a 74 to 72 buzzer beater win courtesy of Trevon Hughes floater in the lane with .9 seconds remaining in the game. The Badgers showed they could win on the road in a hostile environment and gut out a victory at the end of the game. Marcus Landry led the Badgers in scoring in the win as he got 18 points on 6-7 shooting and made all four of his three point attempts.
