The UW Badgers vs UW Whitewater was a harder fought game than most fans expected as the Badgers had to earn the win by a final score of 64-47. The Badgers are a young team and Bo Ryan new his squad would have a contest in there final exhibition season game against UW-Whitewater ranked number 4 in D3. Bo's take on the Badgers performance is that it is early and it shows. The Badgers shot just 40.7 percent overall in the game and 24% from beyond the arc. The oddest stat of the night for the Badgers is that they took two fewer free throws than UW-Whitewater, odd because historicaly under Ryan the Badgers make more free throws than there opponents attempt. Of course Bo Ryan knows a little something about the quality that can be found at times in D3 ball, and his former UW-Plattville team upset Bradley, 84-79 at Peoria Sunday. Joe Krabbenhoft led the Badgers effort with 12 points and added 6 rebounds in the contest.
