Marcus Landry Bio:
As a senior Marcus Landry is expected to provide the leadership to a young Badgers team that former Badgers such as Tucker provided him. In addition to leadership Landry figures to be one of the Badgers top all around players, and was selected to the All Big Ten preseason team. In combination with fellow senior Joe Krabbenhoft the Badgers should have the best forward tandem in the Big Ten. As a Junior Marcus Landry was named Most Outstanding Player of the 2008 Big Ten Tournament and second team All Big Ten by the coaches. One of the things Landry would like to improve on from his Junior year is his limited production in the NCAA tournament. As a sophmore Landry played in every game started the last six, and was the third leading road scorer for the Badgers. Marcus Landry played in 16 games as a freshman and averaged 6 points a game. Landry was First Team All State of Wisconsin his senior year of high school, and a sought after four star recruit. Landry's brother Carl was a Big Ten basketball star at Purdue and plays in the NBA, in addition Landry's sister plays division I basketball.
