Wisconsin Badgers Dustin Sherer Looks Ready to Make a Start

Junior Wisconsin Badgers QB Dustin Sherer looks poised to make his first start for the Wisconsin Badgers on the road against Iowa. Dustin worked out with the number one unit on Tuesday and it is being reported by sources that he got the majority of the reps. A switch at the QB position seemed likely for the Badgers after Allen Evridge's monumental futility against Penn State. In the Penn State game Evridge completed 4 of 8 passing, although two of his completions went to Penn State players. In addition Evridge had a critical fumble to give Penn State a momentum killing score right before the half. Dustin Sherer looked like he was throwing the ball well against Penn State, however through into coverage and had a pass picked off in addition to having one interception overturned by replay.
If Dustin Shrerer does start versus Iowa look for him to start the remainder of the season as head coach Bret Bielema seems to not like controversy at the QB position. Sherer is not however the QB of the future for the Badgers that title goes to redshirting freshman Curt Phillips, a big play maker in high scool in Tennessee
